Price reforms introduced

The National Development and Reform Commission released 16 new policies pertaining to price reforms for water, electricity, and solid and sewage waste management, reports the 21st Century Business Herald. Although detailed measures are yet to take shape, the policies are expected to see environmental costs reflected more accurately in consumer utility bills. The new pricing system will go into effect by 2020.
