Tesla to build Shanghai’s largest EV factory

Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has signed an agreement to build a manufacturing factory in Lingang, Shanghai, reports Jiemian. The factory is expected to manufacture 500,000 electric vehicles per year, and will also include research and development facilities and sales. If the plan goes ahead, it will be the largest electric car manufacturing facility in Shanghai.
