A Tiger prince makes an appearance in Ranthambore

July 7, 2018
During one of our safaris in Ranthambore National Park, we went around an area, where a Tiger was spotted the previous day.
But today, we saw a handsome Sambar Deer stag standing at the exact spot where the Tiger was seen.
After taking a couple of pictures of the Sambar, we headed towards the small check dam across the stream.

While crossing the check dam, our guide spotted a Tiger that has just emerged into the clearing. A few more vehicles came by and soon there was a traffic jam there. Hearing the commotion, the Tiger, a sub adult cub, got up and walked into the open.
It was soon clear that this fearless bold Tiger did not give a damn to the slew of vehicles, and leisurely crossed from one end to the other side of the stream in full view of all the vehicles. He then chose a comfortable shaded place and settled down for a siesta.
